Pastor Nygaard grew up in Wisconsin having been born and raised in Plymouth. After meeting his wife, Ann, they moved to Sheboygan, WI. Before going back to school to receive his Master of Divinity he worked in the grocery industry and in the financial field as an owner/advisor of JET Financial Group. In 2019, the Nygaard's moved from Sheboygan to Fort Wayne, IN as pastor answered God's call to go back to school after almost 15 years, having graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in 2005. Graduating from CTSFW in 2023, he received his first call to Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church in Merrillville, IN.
Pastor has been married to Ann for over 20 years and they have three children, Jordyn, Emily, and Timothy.
